Yipp Dual Personal Open Source License and Business Monetary License

Definitions.

“This License” refers to version 1 of the Yipp Dual Personal Open Source License and Business Monetary License also referred in short by Yipp Dual License

A “work” means both the source code or its compiled version.

“Copyright” also means copyright-like laws that apply to other kinds of works.

To “modify” a work means to adapt part or all the work in a fashion requiring copyright permission, other than making an exact copy. The resulting work is called a “modified version” or a work “based on” the earlier work.

A “covered work” means either the original work or work based in part from the original work.

 

Personal

For personal projects you are free to download and use the code.

You may modify the source code and redistribute the modified source code only if you maintain the original license on all files containing work covered by this license. You must retain original author and must retain the license (Yipp Dual License) on all files containing code covered by this license.

You may not remove the original author name. You may not switch to a different license the code or modified version of the code covered by this license.

You may not license this code to business use unless you are the original author.

In other words, the work may be redistributed and modified only for personal projects and the only one able to license the code for business use is the original author. If multiple authors have contributed to the work, only the original authors can authorize licensing for business use.

Business

For business entities and individuals in business; to use this code in part of in full, you must pay a fee and obtain permission from the original author.

Compatibility with other license

The code covered by this license may not be changed to any other license, except by the original author.

The code covered by this license is compatible to coexists with MIT-licensed source code in the same project.

The code covered by this license is not compatible to coexists with GPL-licensed source code in the executable.
